Heather and Tommy – as if this couple wasn’t beautiful enough on the outside, their hearts are just as stunning! Heather and I went to high school together, and I’ve always known she was sweetheart. She told me that Tommy was kind and agreeable, but I always say that a two hour photoshoot can put that to the test. About 5 minutes in to shooting Tommy said, “This is kind of fun. We should do this more often!” and he kept that attitude for the full two hours. They are so gentle and attentive toward one another. I tend to think “sweet” is an overused adjective (especially for couple photographers), but I can’t think of a better way to describe how they interact with one another in both words and actions.
We traveled to the Peaks of Otter Lodge for the first half of their photo shoot, then drove up the mountain about 10 minutes to the Arnold Valley overlook where the MOST BEAUTIFUL sunset created the perfect backdrop for the remainder of their session. They danced by the lake, walked hand in hand in the sunset and it truly was so easy to capture the feelings between them. They have done such a good job of making their upcoming wedding about what matters most – their relationship. I’m already anticipation how gorgeous their September wedding is going to be! Congratulations, Heather and Tommy. You are so so blessed!
