There are many ways people connect with me to photograph their wedding – facebook, instagram, good old google, and my favorite way, through friends. Two of my best friends worked with Rachel, and when she reached out about wedding photography, I saw that her fiancé was Tyler, whom I went to high school with. (It’s a small world…or maybe Amherst is just a small town.)
Tyler and Rachel had the most beautiful sunny day in November for their wedding at West Manor Estate. They are probably one of the most calm couples I have ever come across – just steady, sure, and ready to get married! Rachel and Tyler did a quick “no-peek” on the front steps of the estate to have a moment (and a few tears) with one another before they ceremony.
Getting married in a glass atrium while the sun goes down is highly recommended! It was so beautiful and sweet as they exchanged vow and rings amongst their families and friends. At the reception Rachel shared an emotional dance with both parents and with her new husband, and Tyler and his mom had so much fun during their mother and son dance. The rest of the night was filled with music, meaningful toasts, mingling guests, and a little bit of break dancing from Tyler. Congratulations, Rachel and Tyler! I hope your life together is just as beautiful as this day!
